Strategic Field Sales Exec - Detroit/Southfield
Certified Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS) is a Seattle-based company with offices in Kirkland, WA, Portland, OR, and Cleveland, OH. CSS is expanding and currently seeking a Strategic Field Sales Exec for the Detroit/Southfield area. This position requires an individual who exceeds pre-defined sales quotas with a minimum of 5-10 years' sales experience and a proven track record of successful sales within a high-tech business environment, preferably InfoSec. The sole focus of this position will be on Security-related solutions for the Detroit territory. Must have the ability to discuss business needs with executive management while leveraging solutions; be highly motivated and able to utilize multi-level selling of large ticket solutions; possess the ability to maintain constant, cordial and vigilant contact with clients to ensure that every possible lead has been exploited to derive maximum client and company benefit. Requires demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of multiple platforms in correlation with e-business solutions including but not limited to Security, Internet, Network Operations, Network Management, Desktops and Servers, Applications and Databases, etc. Only PNW candidates not requiring sponsorship will be considered.
Responsibilities:

Developing and managing sales strategy for assigned territory.

Acquiring new prospects through research, direct contact, seminars/presentations, cold calls and networking within industry functions.

Calling on prospective customers to describe CSS services/products emphasizing saleable and distinguishing features. Work with skilled technical consultants to problem solve and develop unique solutions for complex environments. Performing to meet and/or exceed established objectives in designated market segment.

Documenting details of interaction with accounts/prospects. Helping to develop and promote new services offerings.

Building, tracking, and closing business from a self established pipeline to support quota requirements. Utilizing Forecast and Pipeline Reports within corporate CRM, to report status of revenue related activities.

Assisting with the management of strategic accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
5-10 years' prior experience in a Sales related position, preferably selling solutions to large accounts in the enterprise computing security industry.

Proven track record of new account development and management.

Possess significant IT and Security industry contacts in the assigned region.

Prior experience or strong familiarity with the subtleties of enterprise-wide sales. Proven ability to comprehend the depth and breadth of impact, synthesize various issues and requirements to generate a solution to satisfy a customer's requirements.

Prior experience or proven ability to handle complicated, solution based sales cycles.

Passion and consistency to exceed sales goals and revenue objectives, and to develop and expand a high growth territory.

Solid understanding of computer security industry concepts, technology, trends and future direction.

Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, presentation, persuasion, listening, proposal, etc.)
